Osmanthus is a yellow gold flower popular in Chinese cuisine and herbal medicine. The fresh blossoms are layered with high grade tea leaves several times until the leaves are infused with the sweet scent of the flowers. The flavor is soft and subtle. Traditionally Osmanthus flowers were said to aid digestion and bestow long life on the lucky drinker.
